Title: Ignore Thread
Post by: mr007s on January 16, 2019, 09:26:36 AM
Been searching for a way to ignore a thread. Is it possible? I found ignore a Board but no ignore a  thread.

On my computer, there are two arrows at the extreme left of the title bar.  I use the one pointing to the left often.  I also use the scroll wheel on the top of the mouse to move quickly past a topic I don't have any interest in.
(I do something similar with the TV remote to change stations when there is a commercial I HATE.)
But an actual IGNORE button doesn't seem to be available.

I'm assuming you are referring to a thread in which you have posted a response to? And now do not want to continue to receive notifications of updates to that thread?
If so, go into your profile from the tab above. On the left side menu select Notifications.
There you will see a list of boards and threads you are receiving notices from. Simply go down the list and check the box on the right side and select Unnotify.
If it's something else, let us know.
Hope this helps. I'm answering for Liz, she is either at work or sleeping after work.
:)

For me, it's pretty simple. Just use my mind's built-in ignore function.
Hehe  :D

Thanks Mike and DEz!
