sperhoI don't know how old you are, but especially if you are middle age or older (like me), I would recommend you to go to Home Depot (or similar) and get a back belt. It will help to protect your lower back as you shoot. Shooting w/o a jacket or back belt is hard on your lower back. Your TX+scope is about as heavy as a 10m match rifle (11 pounds).Discomfort and sore from a new position, that is OK. But it should stop after your body gets used to the new position and your muscles get stronger.But hurting is NOT good. Hurt indicates injury, and that is NOT good.It might be interpretation where it goes from sore to hurt.
FLA/EddieThe sights on your Edge is not "open" it is a "diopter" sight. "Open" would be like front post and rear notch sights, like the stock sights on the 953.
