I get a lot of e-mails (trying to reduce my e-mail load) :) :) from many of our members regarding/requesting information for the Crosman and Remington NPSS guns and asking if there is a trigger available for those guns.
The answer is yes and all of the information is available on the website. ;) ;) The CBR trigger blade is the solution for those guns and greatly improves the trigger pull length and pull weight. The CBR trigger also applies to the Remington Genesis and Remington Legacy springers that has the plastic trigger as well as some of the late model Phantoms.. ;D
Clicking the website link below should answer any questions that you may have regarding the CRB trigger blade and provides the CBR trigger gun applications as well as other information.

Got your trigger for my All Weather .22 and love it. Thanks Rickey

One of CDT's latest trigger for the Remington and Crosman NPSS Gas Rams is the CBR trigger. This trigger I cannot say enough good about. It definetly has that two stage feel and a crispy break. I have intsalled it in both my NPSS gas rams and am as happy as a pig in dung over the results.
Check it out:

Excellent trigger Bob! I didn't know $29 could make that much difference.
-
I'll throw my hat in this ring as well. I installed one of these in my camo Remington NPSS, and it made a world of difference. Every air rifle I own that can fit it has a Tuna trigger in it!
-
Ridiculously good. Ya got my vote :)

made my npss shoot like a dream - thank you!

Hi there, I am new to this forum but not to Charlie Da Tuna as I recently purchased a GRT III for a Gamo Shadow and what a great feel it has now. Great two stage action. So thanks for that but now I have a dilemma. I have just purchased a Remington NPSS and WANT the CBR Trigger but the website says not available outside U.S. Any chance of making it available outside U.S. I certainly had no problems with previous mailout. ???
-
I have the NP hardwood (not xl) and bought a trigger for it right after shooting twelve shots with it when new.
The different trigger makes it like a different rifle! Now the rifle groups much tighter than before. Had no trouble at all with it being too light.

well worth my money great improvement over stack one
-
Is there any way to order a GRT III trigger without doing the whole money order thing?? Do any sites sell them that take Visa or PayPal or something electronic?
-
There is no other way than as per the website and it can only be ordered through the website.

Just installed one in my .22 Remington NPSS and I love it, makes it nice and smooth.
-
I am thinking of one of these. The money order thing is the only thing stopping me. Paypay or credit card would make it a snap. Any way to do this at all. Thanks
Jason
-
That is the only way.

Ok thanks. May order one a little later.

i sent cash on my last two tuna-triggers in November - worked like a charm
-
If I am not mistaken Bob still takes cash. But check his web site first. ::)

Received my trigger, looked at the installation directions and took 15 minutes to install into my NP Trail. Made a very minor adjustment on the 2nd stage. This gun really shoots now! Definetly a cheap and easy fix to my one real issue with the Trail.
-
Hey Bob, got your trigger installed on my Benji NP 177 trail. Install was a breeze. I started breaking it in to where I had sub 2" groups with 10ish gr ammo @50 ft. Ammo that weighed less than 8 grains just corkscrews out of the barrel. The rifle has about 1,000 rounds through it and I'm lucky if i can get a 12" group @ 15 yds. >:( I've tried all the basic trouble shooting. The gun does not want to shoot straight. Any Ideas? Joe

I'm just jealous... we've got a poor airgun scene over here..

Sorry but can't/won't be done. Too many hassles going through customs.

Installed my CDT trigger (GRTIII) last week and tweaked it a bit from the factory set and wow! What can one say, this trigger is a true 2 stager! It will make airgunning fun again folks! The smallest investment you will make on a airgun to make it real nice other than a full tune!
-
Ordered the CDT trigger today for my first air gun, a Remington 22NPSS. The stock trigger is kind of a disaster. The gun came with a damaged breech seal, but Crosman has 2 new seals on the way. My background is all rimfire and in 1950-53, small arms repair in the US Army. Ed
KILL LIST SO FAR: (all at 25 yards)
14 pennys taped to cardboard box
23 1" red gummed dots
1 7UP can
Only wounded some of the red dots tho, but didn't feel bad about it.
-
Thanks for posting this thread. I thought the Benjamin Trail and Remington NPSS had the same design.
-
Okay. I just ordered the CBR Trigger for my NPSS. 8)
@ Gene. Oops. I accidentally ordered the Quick Seal Kit which I just realized is for Co2 Guns. So sorry about that. I obviously can't use it, so please ignore that part. I will mail the $29.00 in cash tomorrow. Sorry about the confusion on the order! I plan to install the new Trigger along with the Bushing Kit available here on the forum too. :)

hey guys i tuned my trigger for my crosman storm xt and the pull length is short and weight is also very short it is not very crisp but for an old trigger that probaly was gonna be exchanged for a better one is has worked for over 8 months know and i can quarters at 45 yards with my crosman xt .177 like i said not very crsip but very light and i got used to it in about a week and can hit about anything.. i canprobaly bet the trigger pull is at about a half pund and right now it is more accurate than my hatsan 125 sniper but am working on that one right now and hopefully i can find i way to improve the hatsans trigger because it sure is not as light and accurate as my crosmans.
-
Benjamin / Crossman Nitro Trail. My trigger is crisp and creep free. Is there any source for a lighter spring. Every one of my 11 pellet rifles has a much lighter trigger pull. Even my Steroid Streak, Blue Streak and Crossman 2100 are lighter. I'm still not happy with it.
-
Put one of Charlie's triggers on my Trail NP and it is perfect. Maybe the pull could be a touch lighter, but it works fine for me as backyard rifle practice for my LR-308 with a similar pull weight. I did swap out the sythetic stock for hardwood to get my trigger finger geometry correct, a further improvement.
Makes achieving a true surprise break very easy, which is crucial to accurate rifle fire.

Well I see here no one has made a post to this thread in almost 2 years .......... in that time Crosman has come out with the new NP2 . On the box it sez it comes with the new CBR trigger ; is that the same trigger that the title of this thread is referring to ?

No, they may have copied the name though to try to fool people....
-
CBT , ....thats what it sez on the box. I got mixed up and thought CBR . And got even more confused by CDT (which I learned is Charlie Da Tuna).
So , CDT makes the CBR to replace the CBT ; well there I go :o
-
I cant download pdf files , can you tell me if it fits the new , Remington express. 22 break barrel ? Thanx
-
Most of you probably know this, but maybe it'll help some other newbies. The CBR trigger will NOT work in the Crosman Vantage NP. I did not understand the difference and ordered the wrong trigger. If you are trying to replace the trigger in your Crosman Vantage NP, I believe the correct trigger is the GRT-III. If I am mistaken, somebody please correct me.

What about the "Crosman Diamondback (.22)", which tiger should I buy ?
-
What about the "Crosman Diamondback (.22)", CDH22TDSS-SX, which trigger should I buy ?
Hello,
I already use your trigger in my Gas Piston Bone Collector, nice feel to it, smooth action.
I am buying a new Rifle, a Crosman Diamond Back, .22 cal, Model: CDH22TDSS-SX, and I would like to see what is available for this gun.
I have a problem reading the link information, I know you put in a great effort getting the information added in a manner that everyone should understand but I personally don't. My Rifle is a NP - Nitro Piston, and a SS - Short Stroke, but my model calls out "TDSS-SX", the TDSS doesn't match the NPSS or does it ?
Maybe I just discovered my problem I am reading things to literal, the rifle is an NP powered and it is a SS Piston, so maybe the NPSS Trigger will work.
Please get back to me about my problem.
Thank you for your time, Stay Safe !

From what I can see here and on the CDT Trigger info... my Rifle will take the CBR Trigger.
Problem is I want the Gold Anodized Metal Trigger !
Is there a metal trigger for the Crosman Diamondback !
Thanks

Hi,
Anybody know what trigger for shockwave??
-
Hello I'm a new guy with a shockwave too. The first post of this thread was in 2011
I was wonder the same as you about the trigger. Ton of information in the link in the first post,.... but I can't tell
if this fix works for the shockwave or not. I'm still learning the terminology . I don't even know if the shockwave is a short stroke,
NPSS or just NP. Most likely you already read all the info I did but just in case. Open the link on the first post go all the way to the
bottom there is a link there that has some pictures. I'll be watching to see if anyone answers the question.
-
Check this out too.
"REVISED 3/26/13..WHAT WILL THE GRT-III GRT-4G CBR TRIGGERS FIT?"
-
For the two guys asking about the Shockwave. From what I can see on the web it has a metal trigger which should mean it takes a GRT III trigger. If you can take it out of the stock and show me a closeup picture of the trigger housing I can be more certain.

Thanks for the information. Roadworthy sent me some information that agrees with you. My rifle is in the mail back to crosman.
zoom in on the muzzle it's twisted clockwise and tight as can be. No idea how it happened.

are CBR triggers available ? the webpage is still up and taking orders .
