Interesting choice. Sounds like a good way to have airgun fun without breaking the bank. I’ve never had the pleasure of shooting a meteor. Where do you get your barrels? Chambers has them but not exactly cheap.
Great artical Louis, thanks for posting. I have a MKIV Super that was the subject of a 9 part blog writen by Tom Gaylord in 2013 for Pyramyd Air. I purchased the rifle at an airgun show in 2015. I have not shot it much, at the time it seemed to low powered. Over the years I have become more of a whimpy shooter prefering the 6 ft pound rifles and that is about where mine is tuned. Today started well below zero so this afternoon I read your post then reread Tom's blog and went to the garage and shot the Meteor. The only change that I have made is to mount a Williams peep sight. Good cure for cabin fever. Thanks again for the reminder.
They look like neat guns. They're more rare and expensive in the US. I'd be happy to find one for $75.
