Crosman rear sight plate

I wanted to be able to adjust the notch width on the rear sight plate of the stock 13xx/22xx sight to account for barrel lengths and front blades. I also prefer a broader face on the plate.
As a 3D newbie, I used 3D Builder that comes with windows (I know, I need to get off the fence and pick a CAD program and pay the learning curve)
I posted a 1.8 mm notch model (though it prints smaller on my printer) and a blank without a notch. It is easy to edit in any size notch. I printed a whole range until I hit the goldilocks one.
I've printed it with and without supports, either way there was stuff to clean up on the backside of the wings. I sanded and painted the one in the picture.

if its printing “small” on yer printer, use the slicer to increase the size percentage 1/2% or so until it fits
cant tell from the pic, but if the wings arent the same thickness of the body, then make them the same thickness. then print it with the notch facing up, then you wont need supports

The wings need to be raised so the body fits into the slot in the sight body. The notch opening is a small feature in the top layer. For me the notch width is an incremental try and tweak based on the view of the front sight, not a specific number. For my use, I printed them out in .2mm increments on the notch width until I got the sight gap I liked.

UPDATE
I just realized that the pistols that I use these on all have a front sight that is a little taller than the stock sight. For short range, with a stock front, these may not go low enough. I made a quick mod to lower the top of the blade (files attached). The comparison is in the photo. The low sight is on the right (waiting to be painted). The middle is the stock blade. Those two now have similar distance from the top of the sight to the top of the screw slot. The previous, taller version is on the left. I checked the new version on my stock 1322 and it seems to have enough range.
Sorry for any wasted effort.

Thank you for sharing and any thing that is still being tested is not a waist of effort. I do have a question would you entertain making the bottom a little longer to add in enough material to add in a peep sight hole? That is something I think I could test on my 2240 carbine.

Yeah, at less than a gram apiece, printing a bunch to optimize the sight geometry is no big deal.
For a peep hole, it may be easiest to use the blank without the notch that I posted in the first post and just add a hole there. Actually, enlarging the flat section around the peep hole might be useful. I've been printing these at 100% infill so drilling a hole may be cleaner than trying to print it.
