I was just doing the grocery shopping and noticed they marked the Red Ryders down to $22 at my local Walmart.
This might be good for those of you with grand kids. I keep an old Buck version in the shed for those days when I'm waiting for paint to dry on a project

Red Ryders and Bucks are great.
I use a butt stock to cheek hold on the Bucks not butt stock to shoulder.
Shooting marshmallows in a pond is fun.
Shooting pop cans on a 12" piece of coat hanger wire stuck in the ground is fun.
Shooting a Red Ryder or a Buck is fun.

What do you oil them with? I heard 20wt motor oil as opposed too 20wt engine oil.

I use 30 W weight Motoroil for it, just like I use on my Crosman 1377, or my Daisy 880.

I picked one up for that price at Christmas.
You know, for the grandkids. 😉
