Several posts have appeared recently promoting the aftermarket trigger peddled by the co-owner of another ("GTA") forum. Be aware that, due to our Rule #14, these will be deleted on sight and those posting them may lose their posting privileges if repeated. Thank you.

I think you may have Missed Rule # 15 Panama. PM's are not to be Posted on the open forum. You must have not read the rules I guess?

Just goes to show you how childish and immature those factions of the yellow are... :) James Kitching would of never lowered himself to this kind of stuff. And more than likely if James could see all that has been said on his yellow forum about CDT he would roll over in his grave.

I've read enough bashing about Bob (aka CDT) that's always been False.I guess to see it again I figured everyone's seen enough of it. I see your post after getting an email and maybe took it the wrong way,Then you post a friendly piece of advise,(and break Rule 15) by posting a PM on the open forum.
I couldn't of been the only one that took offense in Bobs defense,but posting a PM isn't no better.
You could have answered back and explained your Post,,but instead you bring it here,,Not Good.
My Mistake taking it the Wrong way,but an explanation would have done it.
Oh and btw,,it was a PM to let you know who Charlie actually was,(in case you didn't know),and too keep you from getting into Trouble. You bring it here instead of PMing me back and Breaking the Very next Rule below the one you quoted.
Sorry about that,but the fact still remains you missed one of the Rules in your Post.

Thanks guys I wasn't sure exactly how to respond to this from a mods point of view.
All I can say is don't post pm's on the open forum and if you have a issue with something and ur not sure were to post it or if its allowed. Please contact a mod or admin to ask where it should be posted or if its ok to post about whatever topic u have in mind.
And please no bashing of charlie aka bob, his triggers are extremely good and as said he is co owner of the forum and no one here will stand to see any bashing of charlie or his triggers because there is nothing negative about him or his triggers.

I guess I'm a bit touchy when it comes to all the BS I've read about Bob,especially when we all know the kind of Man he is. Thanks Mike,I guess it was worded in a way I may have not quite understood,but I was only trying to deter panama from getting into Trouble,But sometimes it's best to just say nothing,lol. All's Good here and Keep Shooting guys!

I was merely pointing the the attack on another forum and you respond to me with a warning, I perceived threat, as if I am the moderator on the other site that posted that personal attack. I am new so I show mind my P's and Q's. I apologize to the members for the rule violation. To you I can offer nothing.

ok ok ok were not going to start a flame war on between the gta and yellow. so enough of those comments please..
panama the mod who pm'ed you was not doing so as a means of threating you. a mod will communicate with a memeber about something via pm to keep it off the open forum and to keep it from people who are not involved with the situation
we all know their are knock off's of the grt3 trigger, but there is a reason why we all turn to the grt3 when we need a trigger and the grt3 fits.. its because of the member who created the trigger is one of us, and most of us will support fellow gta memebers who make products when we can. the grt3 is vastly a better trigger and thats nothing new..
so panama made a honest mistake, its been delt with. so lets just leave this thread be and let a admin decide what to do with it.. but i can promise you guys this, gene will take it very serious as well as the other mods if any yellow forum vs gta comments start being posted and i would not want to be on the receiving end of that pm
*idk if its within my powers to move this to the non productive gate so i wont move it but i honestly think its run its course and needs to get locked and moved to prevent any other comments causing any kind of issues*

Every time i see something about the triggers i chuckle. I love CDT's triggers. The other guys triggers don't even look anything like the picture- just a plain piece of anodized aluminum with too much slop and side to side wobble. They are better than factory, but the GRTIII is even better then that. I've bought both and I've never been let down by the fit or the performance in a GRTIII and I've tried them in 4 Stoegers and anTrail XL so far.

Seriously, some of you with well meaning are violating a cardinal rule of GTA. No flaming anyone or anything. That means other forums. I too was taken aback from JUST the title of this thread but panama CAME to us from another forum and wanted to SHARE what was being posted on another forum. His intention was NOT to start a flaming war nor to belittle Bob or GTA. It was taken all in the wrong context. These things happen. Personally, I would rather he came here and sent Bob a pm or email and just informed him.
It's natural that if you come here and post something like this pertaining to ANY of our great members (and in particular one of our founding fathers or our staff) you will most definitely invoke some strong comments and flared emotions. Panama did break a BIG rule by posting content from a pm on open forum. He has been warned of this and posted an apology for that. It just goes to prove MOST folks do not take the time to read forum rules, which can result in such a thread as this. PLEASE take this as an example all, especially new members. PLEASE READ & HEED the forum rules.

We have always boasted that GTA was a step above ANY other forum. And to have a moderator come to GTA is an honor to me. Something brought him here and we should welcome folks and SHOW them why we are so proud. YOU folks made it that way and let's keep it that way.
Chaulk this one up as lesson learned and the welcome mat is out for all to enter.
