I bought 2 of them Thanksgiving. One for Betty Lou and one for myself. I cleaned the barrels, deburred them and heavy tarred the springs. They like the CPHP and after a short break-in (100 or so) shots, they shoot as good as I am. They seem to be a little more hold sensitive than my Venom but I can do nickles at 30 yds. (not as young and steady as I once was). I have only owned airguns in the 100 - 150 dollar range so I can't compare to anything other than what I have. Nothing I own beats the Venom. The Kodiak with the .22 barrel would have to be next. I have yet to buy a chrony so I can't give stats or any of that fancy stuff. I just know what I like and to some degree, I love them all.
start with a good clean barrel and at least 100 rounds to run it in abit....
If it shoots a real crappy group, check the crown. I had one for a while and done everything I could to get it to shoot straight. Finally I got fed up and chucked up a 5/16 drill bit and just shoved it in the muzzle and let some chips fly. Walked out back and shot 5 shots in 3/8 inch at 25 yards. Go figure haha. They are great guns for the money!
