Title: Installing a TBT drop in kit on a TX200
Post by: neil180 on September 05, 2016, 08:54:28 PM
I recently purchased a drop in kit from Nick Stanning (Tinbum) and installed it in my TX. Easy to do and every worthwhile - shooting a smooth as silk now :)

Here's the video :)

I fitted a tin bum kit in one of my hww77's, the new spring took it over our legal limit so took it apart to collapse a coil. I found that the rear spring guide was cut through and in two pieces. The spring installed was a factory weihrauch spring polished at both ends.. It had cut through the delrin guide

I bought a TBT kit for my 12 FPE TX200HC. The kit did not have a spring included. I used the factory spring. The synthetic 14.95 mm diameter spring guide was very tight. I used the sand paper included to shave down the guide to fit the guide. The kit helped tame the vibration and speed up the shot cycle with the lighter synthetic top hat. I also replaced the breach seal. It improved the performance of my field target rifle.
