After many sleepless nights, l have finally got it down to 3 choices for my first PCP.lt will be in .22 and will mainly be used for informal target practice and occasional hunting.1) New Air Arms S510 XS Carbine with Hunter Green poplar stock. This is requlated and has the new clickable power adjustment. l love everything about this but l have to wait until May to get my hands on it. Also l haven't seen any reviews.2) FX Dreamline with laminated stock. l like all the features and the possibilities this rifle offers but l am still concerned about the unsupported barrel and the potential for zero shifts if bumped. 3) FX Crown synthetic. Once again, heaps of features and options, but the same issues with the unsupported barrel. I can't push the budget anymore, so l have to stick with the synthetic stock. l am far from convinced about the soft feel coating that they come with.I'm looking at April for the new shipment of FX's.The wait is causing me to go around in circles and l'm spending way too much time thinking about the best choice. The other option is a near new FX Royale 400. l can this quite soon and it would be the cheapest of my options.Anyone have any thoughts? Cheers George
Working on the premise of you can only shoot one at a time why have more than one air gun ?? I need a really good reason to have more than only one that will make it seem reasonable to the financial manager (wife) In reality I like variety in all my toys the only time only one makes sense is wives more than one wife would have most men living in a rubber room.

Ditto I enjoy all my pellet guns and most days will shoot two or three different ones just because
... swapable barrel kits keep pulling me back to the Dreamline.
The barrel swaps sound like a great feature but honestly I don't see myself ever doing it. Besides swapping the barrel the gun will need adjustments. Don't feel I would want to spend time getting one caliber to shoot to my liking and then having to change everything including the scopes zero.
OK, I have made a little bit of progress and l've decided l don't need the capacity of a bottle as most of my target sessions will be on low power and hunting will be limited to under 20 shots at best.So the Ctown is officially out!I will check with the local importer but l am not confident there will be Dreamlines available within the next month or so.So if l can get a firm price and verification the the Air Arms 3 year warranty is upheld by the local distributor l will go with the new Air Arms S510 XS carbine .The only choice is the stock type - l am finding the Hunter Green poplar stock very appealing.Does anyone have any experience with the poplar stock and how durable it is. l'm worried that it's going to be a tough ad pine...
