Early Benjamin rod pump guns

I have 4 of these old model E,F, G. I HAVE REPLACED THE SEALS BUT THE PUMP ROD IS EXTREMELY HARD TO PUMP MORE THAN 4 or 5 times.
And the trigger has to be pulled very fast, to get a full power shot.
Any comments.
