Old style trigger guard mold
pblawler:
So I pulled the trigger on supplies to make a mold for the old style trigger guards and safety buttons. I have plans for a trigger stop and return spring that will require drilling and tapping the trigger guard. These are rare so I don't want to modify my factory pieces so I'm gonna try and make some with epoxy. I ordered the mold max 60. If it works we may have a source for the old style guards.

If you are good with a Dremel, a TG/Safety assy can be carved out of a NS RH receiver......
I have done that, and I'm not real good with a Dremel.

Privateer:
Pouring molds works great. I still have molds for the Hatsan AT44 and BT65 barrel bands.
One thing I did was allow a channel so I could screw in a nut before I cast the part.
That embeds the nut in the casting unlike the cheap way Hatsan did them.

I received the materials, I designed a mold box. Once I print it out I'll start the layout. I have an idea how to arrange the parts but would like feedback form those with experience.
