Would you guys that are receiving these guns please report the position of the small breech screw required. Do they take the forward screw or the rearward screw that sits back under the bolt probe? Thanks.

To answer your question, the 3622 has the forward breech screw, right where a pellet will run across it. The steel breeches, the 2240SBPK and 1377SBPK, also have the forward screw location. Steel breeches weigh 7 friggen ounces! When the plastic one is removed, I'm guessing it's still a ~5oz increase. Plus scope... For now I'm trying it bone stock.I found a chinesium plastic "steel breech" on ebay, about $15 -- that may be the happy middle ground.
Thanks Bob... I don't plan on buying one but that's good info for those who are.
$50 (including tax and shipping) for a steel breech.I am done with that.I will leave it to the modders who spend $500 to get a $100 airgun performing like a $200 airgun.
This came at a good time for me and the price was the final deal. I regret selling my Maximus and maybe the 3622S will be similar. Kind of interested in the fact that there is no pressure gauge. I have two fill sources with good gauges but still, seems odd. One less place to leak. No green booger???
Curious of the 3622's accuracy on a serious level, i.e., scoped and with curated accurate pellets.

Plus it adds dovetail scope rails and takes the wiggle out of the barrel that is typical of the plastic breech.
Not a bad deal. I 'd get one (for a few bucks more) if it came with a shroud or moderator that suppresses the muzzle report. Is the muzzle threaded for one?
I tested the waters with the memsahib regarding purchasing one.Uh that's a big negatory. She just gave me that look and said "If you get one remember you have to sleep sometime".That's a not so subtle warning guys.

Some sort of long, sleeved adapter or custom moderator will be needed. There is so little barrel length ahead of the fill nipple, it's almost as if they wanted to sabotage moderator installation. It is a bit noisier discharge than I'm used to, noisiest at the middle of the curve, of course. At its worst, somewhat comparable to a stock, air-wasting 2240 CO2 pistol loud. I'll be printing/fabricating some sort of adapter or moderator if I keep using it.
