I was going to recommend the P17, but I was worried you guys would clamp it on your nice shirt and ruin it. You didn't clamp it on your shirt, did you?
Do the p17 and hw40 both use 11mm rings? Does the ultra dot come with rings that fit fine?ThanksVs

Good read... I was there and experienced it ... LIVE. As did many of us.But honestly..... go to Walmart and bust out $32. Read about it later.

Read about it later.I did what you told me! My closest Walmart didn't have them but the next closest one did. Cleaned the barrel, checked all screws, lubed the piston and fired 5 shots at 10 meters, rested. It hits 4 inches left and the rear site wont correct enough. I ran 5 more thru the chrony and avg fps was 430 with 7 grain Hobby ammo. Just mounted a nice Aim Point red dot I has laving around and it looks good with it. Will dial it in tonight or tomorrow. The crown looks rough but I am hesitant to remove the barrel without detailed instructions. So far I am pleased.
I had added a weaver rail one my first P17. I remembered that I had this extra bipod so I mounted it. Works well and has a tac-ti-cool look with it all put together.
