Thanks everyone for all the great ideas. I might try something different but for now I am staying with the 2240 hammer spring. For one thing, early on when I was installing the steel breech, I tried to turn what I thought was an adjustable hammer spring nut and somehow ruined the 3622 hammer spring. I have a lot to learn about tunning, so any ideas will be much appreciated.Today, I shot 30 times starting with the 1500 psi fill. Love to show you the numbers but cannot load photos on my laptop at this time.I can say from shot one to shot 15 all Chronograph readings were in the 590s. Shot 16 stayed in the high 580s until shot 21. Shot 23 was the first 560s then shot 25 was in the 550s. Shot until shot 30 which was 523. Any interpretation of these numbers would be much appreciated. I will say that at 20 yards from a rest all pellets went into one big ragged hole.
When you guys used the discount code with Crosman did you have to open an account first? I just now tried to order a gun and breech and the code only took $6 off. I don't have a customer account. If I can get the code to work there'll be a 3622 speeding to my place

I'm afraid.. Why? Because I know me and I know I wouldn't be happy with one. I would have to have two, both with steel breeches but one converted to .177. So I've resolved to avoid this gun at all costs.
Following... Still trying to decide if I need one or not. I'm hearing that we might not see a 3677 anytime soon if ever.
