It’s the AirVenturi one that Pyramid air sells.
Called a crow mag short.

I really like the look. I put two small button head screws in the mounting holes for the rear sight. I will see if I can make some sort of plate to cover the bumps for the sight.

I seem to recall more than one Eric that shot at DIFTA. AaMoF, there is still one that comes to shoot with us every now and then. Drop me a PM if you want.

I assume you are still using the shim between the barrel and the "brake" (Weight in reality), as the MW is rated at 0.630 ID, while the DIANA barrel is 15.2 mm's OD, and the sleeve is  18 mm's OD.

If so, you MAY want to get someone to bore out the rear end of the MW  to 18 mm's for a few mm's (the same length that you left out of the muzzle).
Once that is done, you can use O'Rings  (M 15X1) as spacers and vary the location of the MW to tune out the harmonics:

The 48 can be as smooth, if not smoother than the TX, but it does require a special piston.

I got the muzzle brake mounted fine and I am very happy with the looks and results.

And I am very impressed with the out of the box shooting of the Diana 48 and I am sure it will get better with tuning.

I started shooting yesterday and got it dialed in well. Then a comedy of errors started.
First I noticed the scope was a 12x and I can use a 16x so after sighting it in. I had tkk ok change the scope. Not a big deal and it went very smoothly.

I did not have a lot of time but I get in some shooting just to break it in and get used to it. I kept having shots fly left and then hit the like a rack driver. Then hit left again. I figured it was me and packed up.

When I looked at the target I knew immediately. I never tightened the stock screws. They were practically falling out.

So now I can redo the sight in .

New 48's and 52's are notorious for loosening the stock screws. Before learning the ropes with these guns, I sometimes had a stock screw literally almost falling off after a break-in shoot. I even know a guy who installed an extra stock screw to his new D48, thinking the gun was defective.

Once settled in with 1 000+ pellets, the 48/52 screws stay put just as well as with other springers. The guns settle down like magic in other ways, too, becoming sensual powerhouses of the best kind.

Thanks I love sprinters and I am used to 12 ft lb guns 20 ft lb area is a cannon to me.
I am planning to put a vortex spring in but want to shoot about 1000 pellets through first .

Is it a To6 trigger? If it's a To1 trigger the vortex kit will not fit. Not sure about the To5 trigger.

It’s an 06 trigger. I ordered the Maccari kit it was suppose to be here today. But maybe tomorrow.

I did get the bipod and it looks pretty nice. Basically sits the rifle in springs. Interesting set up.

I took everything apart hoping the spring would be here. But maybe tomorrow.

It uses a bolt on lug. My intention it to leave the lug for Field target and use it as a reference so I put the sticks in the same spot every time. And only attach the bipod when servicing it or not even use it. I bought it because I figure they will be hard to find one day.

But now I want to test it and see if it changes the POI compared the sticks or bag.

No I don’t have any information on the bipod at all. I was looking at the spring kits  on Airguns of Arizona and decided to buy it because it’s the last one they had.

I’ll post up photos later. The spring is out for delivery after a USPS tour of the Midwest.

I installed the spring kit today. It was pretty straight forward with just a touch of the included black tar.
I also installed the bipod. I did not expect the rifle to rock side to side 20 degrees. It is floating on springs and pivot pins. I’ll be interested to see how it shifts the POI compared ti the sticks. The bipod supports the rifle but you have to hold it steady.

Made a couple offhand test shots to clear out any oil . Seems very smooth and solid. Won’t be able to really test until I get to the range.

The bipod is not bad. I could use a better shooting situation. But it it seems to be OK. I did a bunch of pellet testing. Just shooting off the bipod at 20 yards. The light 8.4 pellets are not as good as the heavy 10.3 but the groups were pretty nice. I will see how it holds together with the sticks later.
