Title: XS B5-10 Repaired
Post by: Relentless Holiday on July 16, 2018, 10:24:33 AM
After a few months of lead slining newer stuff attention turned to this great lil guy.  Never cared to do much repair my self (Never).  But with the help of an old post on a Canadian forum with great photos I dug in and she is now back in the game.  I'd forgotten how much I love the little tank of a gun.  IT's Baaaack......    ;D

Interesting little guns, wish they were more available here.  Congrats on getting your shooter running again.  Successful DIY is satisfying and gives you confidence to take on more ambitious projects.  And, like the Canadian boards, you have plenty of expertise here to help you along.

Neat looking guns. Wish I’d bought one when they were readily available.
Heard they usually need work, but most Chinese guns do, part of the fun.

New old stock of these would be a find indeed.  There was a lot of folks looking... after it ran a little dry.

Bought one from Compasseco long ago before PA assimilated them lol, 10 years or longer and they were drying up then.

I have one that needs a valve, and another that was missing a bunch of parts and its destined to become a Franken gun with a longer barrel.
I need to sort out the valve issue on the other.

Here you go buddy, I still had the spare seal in the parts box. But stamping some may add 5 min to the 15 min. job.  This guy walks you right through it.  Super easy reseal!

This is a old post. But I have one that needs seals. Does the valve assembly parts come out of the rear where the striker cocking mechanism is. I see a slotted valve plug inside. Dont want to mess up the gun.
Any help would be appreciated.
