Once the barrel tape mod is done I've always had decent luck with the Daisy 880's. Had one that friends called "The laser ". Box stock aside from the tape mod and 3-9X scope. If you knew the hold over you could shoot (...drop ) a pellet on anything out to 60 yards with no wind. It was used (abused) and taken out in bad weather (rain, snow, sleet), left in vehicles, the barn and/or outdoors. After a few years the barrel eventually pitted and accuracy was lost. Best $25 I ever spent (it was on sale).
Best chose is the 880.The 35 has no rifling barrel.
Any issues with the barrel extending past the shroud
Nice ! Please keep us posted.Funny enough I am also contemplating to add a Daisy pumper (most likely the 880 as well, but the 901 and 35 are options too) to my more high end stable of airguns, since I am still missing a pumper to shoot.
