I just spent an hour and a half cleaning some shooters that don't use air. It's something that I no longer enjoy. Yet another reason I'm liking AGs more.

Yet another reason I'm liking AGs more.I am keeping the .223 centerfire MSR for "firearms deer season" and other than that it's AEA Challenger 30 or Notos for long walks without that heavy sun of a gun tree stand on my back...lol. All my reloading gear is on gunbroker to salvage enough cash for a compressor. Oh yeah the range is now my back yard and instead of a $15 range fee, $15 of CPHP's is all I need to feed the Gamo Jumper/Springer for about two months...Cheers
Park Ranger= authority.😁 So you hid from yourself?

Yesterday, Ayrabella had a blast slinging .22lr’s from a stainless 10/22 takedown with open sights… I’m certain she’s going to need one of her own, probably the compact in Leopard print camo and a red-dot, like the one on her M4-177…Proud Dad moment right there. Her upbringing with her own air rifles shined- her shooting ability with a rifle about sized for her that she never even shot before. She only only agreed to shoot one shot, but got real comfortable with it. She spent at least 5 bucks worth. Just awesome.

I like long range (100+) shooting with 22lr and especially shorts. It's like shooting air rifles with the delay of the bullet hitting the target but with more power and range. I'm sure I would enjoy shooting the big stuff at longer range but I never sought a range with long distances. 100-200 yards was just never that fun with centrrfire for me. As I get older and have been shooting airguns since 2007, the big stuff doesn't get me excited like it did when I was 15 and I got my 7mm mag. Air power and backyard sniping is my game these days when I get a chance.....

Air power and backyard sniping is my game these days when I get a chance.....You start out young plinking with your dad at short range with low power stuff. As you get older the power and range goes up. For me it was service rifle competition with M1A at 200 yards offhand, 300 yards sitting and 600 yards prone (iron sights). Then I got a lot older and the range is going back down. Nowadays, I'll be darned if I'm going to walk more than 50 yards to set up or take down a target. It's mostly 50 ft and 10M with .22s and even more often with .177 pellets. I'm OK with it. I've had my days and my fun.
Took a ride to Troy to see about some 4' light fixtures for the Red Shed. We to Walmart, Lowes and Harbor Freight. Seems they still have COVID pricing and I ain't doing it.Now watching the Indy 500.
