According to the calendar this is the last match of the year. Looks like we have some extra time to shoot this one due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Don't sit in front of the tv, shoot some targets with the family!
Match #33 scores are due by midnight on Sunday, December 12th, 2010!
As always: The best way to practice is to pick up your rifle and shoot it! ;D

Sweet shooting guys. I have to get out and shoot my own asap! Getting cold up here, waiting for an above freezing day. Might just have to bundle up and make it happen whenever time allows.

Thanks timegoat,
As I am typing this, it is 19
with a wind chill of 6 here in south central Indiana.
Glad I have a long hallway. ;D
Life is a lot easier when it's warm outside.
-
Sure is! We have a long enough hallway too, but neither m'lady or I want me shooting inside. :)

Well...the last match for the year.
Rifle: Air Arms S410SL carbine, Sights: Simmons Prosport 4x12-50mm AO 6x, Pellet: .22 CPHP, Distance: 10 M, Position: Stand/Off Hand, Temp: +10C, Sun, No Wind, Score: 152/200 1x

Well now I've gone and done it. Tried to shoot this outside but my poor widdle fingers were all froze after the second shot! So... I broke the rules and set up in the basement. From one side, through a doorway, past the stairs, through another doorway, and over a bunch of clutter I found a 10yd line of sight. If I didn't know my rifle / pellet combo so well I'd never have had the confidence to attempt an inside shoot, but Dorina loves her them H&N FTTs and this shoot proves it.
I hope I can find the time to shoot the 50ft match this week. Gonna have to set myself up in the window and keep mostly inside to make it happen. But the wind blows directly at the window I'll need to set-up in and that might not be fun. We'll see. At least I can keep shooting the 10yd all winter and that might have to be enough. :)

It's been raining pretty steady here today with 10-20 mph winds. Suppose to lighten up late this afternoon and turn colder. Maybe I can get a target shot.........but does not look good.
You gentlemen have shot some good targets!

Well, I took the chance, set up, and shot about 5:00 PM....48 degrees, winds 10-15......but not without some rain. I shot the first two bulls and then the drizzle started. When I got to the last bull the rain came down steady. Grabbed the rifle, shooting box, target box and folding table but not before getting a good dousing.
This is the first time shooting this rifle with a scope.....it came with the rifle.....I shot better with the open sights. I have to blame this score on something, it could not have been me. :D
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
