Know some folks here have worked with them, and a lot of folks have used the co2 or HPA converted CO2 versions. Add in the newer Thor and Rotec, and they've got a lot of miliage from the same basic action (yeah..some changes...but it's the same action).I've not owned a 1250, but have had a little trigger time with one....and have owned the co2 850, another 850 converted to HPA tanker, and a more recent co2 12gr. wood stock version.Triggers all seem about the same. Not bad, but I'm pretty immune to triggers. Know there were some posts about the trigger system, which should be about the same on the Dominator as the other versions. Most of the power-ups posted for the HPA conversions likely would point you in the right direction even though the ones I've read were not 1250-specific (but if it worked for one, would work for another). So the good news is that a lot of mods have already been tried (although for lower pressure than you envision). Can likly search out the posts about those other rifle's trigger tweaks, power changes, and figure out how to apply them to the 1250.Mags are the same for all of them...simple inexpensive mags, but won't cycle with a pellet longer than about .38". That'snot bad news for a .177 shooter, as that's pretty lone (like 21gr. Piledriver long) for .177 pellets. Mag is a little picky about some pellets rattling back and forth (depending on the shape of the pellet and where the o-ring on the mag contacts them). Which makes some long sub-diameter in the center pellets kind of "rattle". Which is no big deal, unless one rattles forward, sticks out the end of the mag, and jams the rotation.Good luck with the rifle...once you get it and shoot it, THEN figure out what it needs....may be less than you think.
