I went through the same thing with wal mart and crosman. I am not under any legal restriction in Alaska but pcp must be ground shipped. Finally ordered through Amazon and they waited till a week after I ordered it, put it in a bigger box, and air shipped it.. cost me 343 when I coulda got it from crosman for 309 with agnation code on Friday if they would just ground ship..
Mine arrived intact yesterday.I did notice the probe was loose in the box. It appeared to have been removed from the pouch taped inside the box lid? It shoots just fine with no issues,we'll see how it behaves down the road. Just hoping a less $$$ magazine comes to the market for all of us.
Got a chance this morning to shoot off the sand bag and test out some different pellets. The heaviest pellet I had were JSB 18 grains, but the Urb didn't care for it. However, it did really like the JSB RS 13g, and CPHP shot really, really well also. I need to head back to Walmart and stock up on those .22 CPHP at $5.89 a tin.
James pellets make a big difference in any gun! I've got a scale and even the JSB'S can vary in weight to a certain point. Crosman are worse and a harder pellet too(more tin in their mix).
