Thought I had it with the QB78 but temperature becomes an issue; 10 powerlets in the pocket was not too bad.
Quote from: elkhorn on January 12, 2018, 06:55:40 PMI wore the bluing off my RWS 36 break barrel due to cocking for thousands of rounds. It just never scratched that itch. Tried a Trail NP but not a lot better.Youd be cocking the same amount and probably at a higher resistance if there were a single pump pneumatic that fired 600FPS. Whats the difference between a single pump and a single cocking effort on a break barrel?

The 22 version produces 160 shots per 88 gram cartridge making 12 FPE with 14.66 grain pellets:http://hardairmagazine.com/reviews/airgun-test-reviews/hammerli-850-airmagnum-air-rifle-test-review/I bulk refill the rifle and it is very inexpensive to operate like that. Carry one spare 88 gram cartridge and you're good for 300+ shots in a single outing.Maybe not perfect, but darn near perfect for about 8 months of the year.$270 on Amazon.
I have no experience with 88 gram bottles. Not sure how to bulk fill from CO2 tank. I have a CO2 tank on my TIG welder, wonder if I could charge from it?

I'd be interested to read more on this.

If there is any interest here in the one-of a-kind versions,I'm willing to share more about this one.........Not many technical questions were asked in the original post and, as aresult, quite a bit about the gun went undiscussed. Here's the address....... http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/thread/1257727426/SSP+rifle..........discovering+what's+possible It's been edited so that pics now appear. Ron
Did the Webley-Venom Paradigm ever come into existence?
Quote from: WyoMan on January 13, 2018, 01:07:44 AMI really like this [SSP] platform, especially in a pistol packageI have a Beeman P17 pistol. It is very accurate, wonderful trigger and the single charging motion is convenient for a single shot cycle. It is not so easy to cock though. Are you saying that a SSP pistol could be made to produce double, triple or more FPE with very little increase in cocking effort?

Nice find, Rob... That's another way to skin the cat! I think phil did something similar recently but I'm not sure if it panned out...Wyo
