I had the 125TH (same power specs) and I used to shoot over 200 rounds a day with it.
You will be very pleased with the 95, but you should have gone with a .22 instead of a .177. Also hoping that you got the Vortex version.
Did you de-cock it after this test, dry fire or actually shoot a pellet?
I went down to my local gun store today, initially to order a 135 vortex in .177. I've been horning after thing rifle for quite some time now (as some of you know) because of it's sheer power, beauty, and Hatsan's good name for delivering quality guns. I knew it was going to be heavy, clunky and hard to cock. They had one with a gasram, but it was in .25. Upon picking it up, the first thing I noticed was that it didn't actually weigh that much, and that it was actually really well-balanced. Cocking, however, was a different story altogether. There's absolutely no comparison between cocking, say, a gamo shadow dx, and this monster. I thought that 3 years of kickboxing and working out would help me cock this thing with ease. Wrong. It took all my strenght with 2 hands, and even then I struggled. It's kind of like trying to jack up a car. Except that jack is broken, and the car is a tank. Filled with concrete. On Jupiter. Combine that with the fact that I'll only use it for plinking and the fact that it sends dang near anything under 10 grains through the soundbarrier which isn't particularly enjoyable for the neighbours, you'll understand why I've reconsidered. I want an airgun, not a howitzer.Instead, I ordered a hatsan 95, again with a gasram and in .177. Still got plenty of power, but it's a lot lighter and doesn't require you to be a demigod to operate, It's due to arrive on thursday, so stay tuned, folks. Sand.
