This gun looks like a silver streak but it does not say silver streak on the gun only model C. What do I have a model C or a model C silver streak ?

Sounds like it would be an early one and not a 1985.
At the time there was just the model C which was the silver streak, then the blue streak came out and it was " C series " as there was now a silver and blue streak.
Does it have a rocker safety or thumb hold safety ?
If it has a rocker safety is the finish matte or shiny , and does it already have holes drilled and tapped into the right side of the receiver ?

Rocker safty holes drilled for peep sight,mat finish ser no. 441961 .very nice looking and shooting gun my first Benjamin, bought it in a pawn shop for $40

Sounds like it might be a C9. Does the forearm grip tapper at the end?

Model C IS a silver... CB is a blue.
Right click on your pic and select "open With". Then choose to open in MS "Paint" . Once opened you will see how big it really is! Then up top is a choice to "resize"... resize it to 50 or maybe 30%...then save.
You can attach it then.

The very easiest way to reduce a picture size is to e-mail it to yourself. It be be reduced automatically.

Ok so the consensus is that this is a sliver streak even though it does not say silver streak any where on the gun. Is this correct?

Seen some oddballs before such as upside down stampings.

Ron, can you send pix of both sides of the reciever? I think it would be worth a look.

It is plated not painted... Correct?
I just checked my '85 Blue serial 442191 so VERY close to yours. It only says "- C SERIES - MADE IN USA - "
No where on it does it say "Blue streak" on it.
So yours sounds legit.

Real nice SHERIDAN silver streak you've got there, and you got it at a steel too.
Btw Benjamin owned Sheridan at this time, but the gun is all Sheridan and made in Racine Wisconsin.
If anything Benjamin's were more Sheridan as production of everything moved to the Sheridan plant in Racine Wisconsin.

Mine is a mat finish probably plated cause there is not a blemish on the silver metal, stock is original finish but has a few minor boo boos now that is a word I have not used in a while. shoots great even with iron sights. Also does not leak air judging the on pump I leave in it never goes away. Right side says Sheridan products Racine Wis. 53403 left side has. Serial number under hand guard 441961 farther rear is says 5mm (20 cal.) Pellets only. under all that ——series C—-made in USA—- That is all it says on the rifle
