Hi guys i have developed a slow leak on my SPA/Artemis M16 Alpha rifle and would like to know which would be the best way to find it. If anyone could assist me in telling me tje safest way and easiest way to find a slow leak would be great without immersing the action in water like one person mentioned. Also is there any strip down videos on this rifle that anyone knows about, and could possibly send me the link thx guys in advance for any assist.

I'm not familiar with the M16 specifically, but for general PCP leak detection methods, try using a soapy water solution, applied with a Q-tip, to all the possible leak paths.
Be sure to also check the pressure gauge and bleeder hole.
also, have you tried the balloon over the muzzle test ?

Jon I've put thousands of rounds through mine, the o ring that I've had to replace is the fill port one. I tried a few cheap ones first but they don't hold up, I ended up finding a Viton o ring that fit it perfect and has been working for a good amount of time now, I've decided when it does go bad again I'll use another Viton again.
I'll post the exploded view and parts list for it here.

Thx Wayne and Gertrude for your replays I'll defiantly check that out Wayne the fill port one looking on the diagram is a small one at the back of the fill valve. But I'll also try the qtip method just hope that detects it has the leak is a slow one. I fill the rifle up and it takes just over a day to be empty. But I'll check that out later if I get time thx for the replys

What I have seen there is 2 possible ones on the fill valve and one on the reg dial. So are those ones the most common to go I hope so I hope it's not the one at the bottle. I just hope the qtip will detect this slow leak but thx guys.

Hi guys been looking at the blown up diagram and above the fill valve its not an oring it is a bom seal is that one of those ptfe washers the only seals i can see come of the pressure gauge number 39 and 41 unless its the seal at the block which is also a no 39 or the bottle seal no 32. Let me know guys if im write on the bom seal if infact it is a ptfe seal thx guys.
