Has anyone had problems with leaking gas pistons on there hatsans. I have 2 135s and I don't shoot them a lot and might sit months at a time. I do wonder about them leaking out. Is there anything I can do ,or just hope I have good gas pistons in them.

if it does leak.. n-forcer pistons might be best bet for replacement.

please shoot responsibly! don't shoot papaya fruit with a crosman 760 and pellets like i did when i was 11.. back in 1986
they get stuck inside and they don't make a good sound in blender according to grandma her cousin said the papaya had hard seeds and she never seen that but tasted great!
may they rest in peace!

Air is free until you start compressing it!

The Gas Springs in the Hatsans can be rebuilt and pumped back up with a hand pump as they use Air.
All you need is a pump and a Hatsan fill probe.
The N-Forcers come Nitrogen charged but one could use air in those also.
Not sure what attachment you'd need for those.

I have a two year old 125 Vortex and a 25 Supercharger Vortex and no problems at all so far... I don't shoot either one as much as my PCP guns but i do try to get them out every couple months and put a few down range.

I had my first one (Striker 1000x .22) fail after maybe 800 shots. I don't believe for a second that these will last longer than a metal spring. It was replaced under warranty, but I don't think these will live up to Hatsan advertising.
I've got a couple of other ones that haven't failed but I'm not sure they have even 800 shots through them.
