[quote author=Joe Brancato link=topic=84327.msOur air doesn't have to be exactly breathable (odors, carbon dioxide ok), but it must be dry. The problem is that neither the Diablo nor Joe's have any kind of technical data so judging their effectiveness is difficult.
Maybe a better way of approaching this is to get tank manufactures to line the inside of their tanks with something that stops corrosion before it can start.

I think my method for filling with no moisture is better than ANY other removal method All compressors have a single point of air intake usually filtered in some manner. My method is to only feed the compressor Dry Nitrogen 0.1 ppm 99.95percent pure thats all that goes in thats all that comes out into my gun.[][]
the tank pressure is about 2000 psi. I feed the compressor about 8-10 psi to the inlet handle on the GX CS2 handle filters are still in place and i never unhook the feed from the N2 bottle.I have filled my two pcp airguns about 18 times so far and the tank volume has gone down about 30 psi from 2000 psiAs a CF of nitrogen contains 28,316 CC's I should be able to fill about both guns about 10,000 times or a lot more as the tank has 120 CF inside. and the guns from mt combined hold a total of 400 cc's
