I am now considering ordering a 21 inch Crosman .22 barrel from MAC-1 as soon as I have the money and converting a plastic receiver 880, I think that he performance will be close to the 22X .Thank you Stonykill.
Hey you realize you just invented the bugout killer...Assuming it is a new 880 that gets most of the time ~700+ fps with 7.9g pellets and a 20" barrel,It should be with a 15" .22 barrel sending 14.3 about 565-600 fps on ten pumps...it takes me 22 pumps to hit 650 with my 14" barreled 2289 clone, (it is the one that will always stay what it is, my first mod and very accurate to 35 yards)I love the quick handling and balance it has with the short barrel I bet the 880 shorty double deuce is the same...

Not sure anyone cares, but more progress. It has been test fired and is ready for final assembly when I get time, maybe tonight after dinner. 15 inch barrel on this one. I don't know if it will be right away but I will fabricate a new front sight. I do not care for the factory Daisy front sites. So initially anyway this will get a scope.
And here it is ready to sight in and shoot for groups.
Looks like you have the perfect dinner getter .Hopefully tomorrow I will have the time while the sun is up (light for where the lathe is) to finish up my .22 cal Daisy 880 .
Just wondering if the 22 conversion is louder than the original in 177? Thanks!
