On the pistol parts check with Baker airguns too...few other places out there that slip my mind. Maybe others will chime in.Thats a newer style Sheridan..i personally would pass but that's me. On the other gun, there is a lot of blue streaks out there to settle for problem busted up guns. Be patient and enjoy the hunt... youll find a nice one and priced right too.Don't limit yourself to the Sheridan's...check out the Late 70s Benjamin 340 series guns...dem are my favs.Good luck & have fun
With its solder split at the breech, the Gunbroker Streak will be either a PIA to repair yourself, or costly to have someone else do it. Likely that's why no one has bid on it. Don R.

Don R.I'm not saying I'd go for that gun, but I will say that needing a soldsr job doesn't necessarily put me off.Mac1 only charges $25 and 1$ per minute labor + return shipping on top of that If you completely disassemble a gun and send in a thoroughly cleaned and degreased action, you can have the work done relatively affordably.I just had my '67 Benjamin 312 resoldered and it was $45 all said and done.It can vary, but doesn't have to be a fortune.
in my humble opinion (IMHO)Tim is considered the Guru by some, but with my personal experience, I consider him cantankerous and egotistical. "I will hold your gun until I get around to it".... Parts are "well, you should know what you need". Maybe rightly so after all his past with Sheridan... but I did not cause that and should not be the subsequent victom. Rick at PrecisionPellet is MUCH more friendly, communicative, and responsive. I have also had good luck with J.G. but I see now his daughter has taken over so the jury is still out.a) Pass... No C9 is worth $300. A C9 is $200 tops, a C9A is worth $150 to me.b) Pass... the soldered joint, broken wood, damaged metal... PA-LEEZE! Since you are jumping in the deep end of the Sheridan pool...Try finding an "F" HAHHAHHA!
Keep these opinions coming folks!David, I actually live within driving distance from Mac1 (about 1 hour away) and I really wouldn't mind making the drive and meeting Tim.

He has a lot of cool stuff in his shop. Plus he'll fill you in on what you need to do to keep your guns running. Not everyone likes him, but he was always good to me. I used to ride over from Covina when I lived out there. He taught me a lot at his shop. What city are you in? I miss In-N-Out... A lot.Luck,J~

If there's a serial number it should be on the opposite side of the receiver from the pic that you posted. IF it's a sixties model. We all really need to see more photos of it.People usually leave the wood on the lever when refinishing the forearm. You can drive the pins out if you want to remove it. They can be a bear to get back in, though.And... Congratulations!Be safe,J~

I just received my very first Sheridan and I have a couple of questions: - How do you take off the forearm? The wood looks it's age and I want to strip and refinish the stock and forearm...
