While I still haven’t made up my mind on purchasing a higher end spring/gas ram rifle, I stumble across this little Daisy 1101S at Walmart. It was $69.99 and worth twice as much in my opinion. It hits HARD, and is very accurate out to 50 yards with open sights for me. It’ll eat whatever I feed it except for Crosman 10.5’s, they are way too tight fitting in the breech seal. I really wanted a grab and go open sight break barrel to supplement my PCP whenever she’s low on air, this more than fills that role. It definitely has a long heavy trigger and some major twang but, things are smoothing out the more I shoot it. A lot more. Definitely a diamond in the rough. Just thought I’d share.
You can probably get a scope at that Walmart off Bees Ferry Rd. on W. Ashley Circle.
So, today I decided to clean the barrel and then took it off the stock. While doing that I lost one of the star washers from one of the bolts. Just a great start and of course the local hardware store didn't have any.
I'll probably pick up something for washers when I'm in town later this week. Too much to expect a manual for maintenance at this price point. Anyone know if these are 11mm or 3/8 inch dovetails? I keep trying to Google scopes for Springers with a low price point. All I see consistently is the BugBuster. Looks like you'll need separate rings for that vs a Unimount.

I recently acquired one of the scopes below that I'm going to try on my 1101s.https://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/hammers-3-9x32mm-ao-air-rifle-scope?a=1017438
