Here's how I do it.Use an alignment rod .180" slid in from one side.Position the roll pin and turn the clamp into the desired position.Easy, easy like Sunday morning....LOL
All great ideas, Guys......My problem/concern is not with removal; that is easy enough.I have more difficulty driving those little critters (cleaned THAT language up a bit..) back in.I have an assembly jig for the 2100/2200/766/Model 1 that works great for removing the pins..they drive down into a hole in the fixture.I have difficulty holding an alignment punch up from the bottom while positioning the pin and whacking it with a hammer...The pump handle needs to be in alignment with the hole so that the pin enters the hole and doesn't mess up the pump arm...Picture me with my assembly fixture hanging just over the edge of my work table with the alignment punchsticking down, but being held up into the fixture by my knee, while I position the roll pin and whack smartly with a hammer to get it started...
