The Walmart 30w non detergent oil is not with the other oils in the store, they have it hidden in a small section near the oil.
I’m experimenting with Marvel Air Tool Oil. Works as well as Pelgun oil in my 2100.
$10 is not too painful, considering that it will last you a lifetime and multiple reincarnations
Apologies for reviving this old topic, but I have been on a quest to find 30W non detergent motor oil in my area. I checked 5 stores and no one carries it. Not even Walmart though it is listed on their site as a product they sell but apparently elsewhere. No luck at Autozone, no luck at O'Reilly, no luck at Walmart. Checked multiple sites. Where are y'all finding luck getting this mystery oil?I could mail order for $8 to $10 a quart, in-store price is about $4.50. Of course $4.50 is a lot more attractive than over 2x the price.Turby
Just to follow up, I went for it and did an Amazon order for Valvoline 30W ND. $8 a quart. Not the cheapest, but far better than buying umpteen tubes of Crosman Pellgun oil. Thanks all for the replies and guidance!Turby
Scott, I've got a couple old cans of that Marvel Mystery Oil kickin' around my garage and I was wondering about using it in AGs. It seems on the thin side to me. Do you use it on seals or just general lubrication?
