Here's how I made a wood stock for my 2400KT CCS gun.
Used 3 pieces of 1/2" poplar from Lowes.
Found a picture of a stock I liked and made a template from it.
Modified it to my liking with a 15 1/2" LOP.
Screw the 3 pieces of wood together through the future openings
and cut/sand to the outline of the pattern.
Separate and trace/cut the trigger frame outline on the middle section.
Mark and drill the mounting holes with pointed set screws.
Cut the small guide slots for the pins on the trigger frame.
Glue and screw the 3 pieces back together.
Remove everything that doesn't look like a stock and you're done.
Finish as desired. Being poplar, this got truck bed spray paint.
Would be nice if a plastic version like this was available.

Super cool custom AG stock Tack!
-
nicely done, thank you for the photos as well

I started out about the same way with three pieces of wood to lay up like that, but I still have all my pieces in a drawer... ::)
Anyway, bed liner for paint? Does that work out pretty nicely, i.e. tougher and better grip than paint or varnish?

This stock sat glued up for a year until recently when I got the 2400KT.
Rustoleum spray can "Truck Bed Coating" is super tough and my go to solution.
Duplicolor also makes a similar product but it's not nearly as good.

Nice job. I have one drawn up somewhere to cut on my CNC router, need to try one.

Very nice job, and thanks for making it seem so easy, lol, I'll give it a try.

But wait, there's more....just pay a separate fee......LOL
The small plastic fore stock on my gun was in need of an upgrade.
I kept asking myself, Where's the beef?
Made this one from wood and freshly painted it with truck bed paint.
Sits nice on a bag which are the majority of my shots.
Get a grip!

Now that looks bad donkey, I like the Beef and its style :)

Well dang, I just found this thread and wouldn't you know it.
I ordered a new 1399 crosman stock and wasted 3 hours last saturday cutting it down to shorten the LOP and add a custom cheek riser.
If only I had found a thread like this sooner :)
Nice write up and good pics.
Thanks

That fore and shoulder stock combo are really beautiful work!

This should almost be a sticky. I made a stock for a Hatsan 125 in this fashion, but used rough grade plywood scraps that were laying around, and sans glue just screws holding it together.
-
Too bad I didn't see this before I paid $60...
Very nice!
While I do like the thumbhole version here, If anyone wants a pattern for a different style, I could trace this and post it here via PDF, let me know.

The first version of this stock I'll call the Model T.
You can get it in any color you want as long as it's black....LOL
The second version is a work in progress started a few days ago.
This will be an Christmas gift to myself for being an all around great guy. :)
Red oak sandwiched between two pieces of black walnut.
Modified the pattern slightly adding a few more dangerous curves.
Still have a good deal of sanding to go but here is the progression so far.

NICE!

Sweet looking stock.
-
Looks very clean ;D
-
Time to make a new stock for a 1389 Backpacker I acquired recently.
Painted with truck bed paint, OD green camo, and satin poly top coat.
-
:o 8) Ended up looking killer ;D
-
Time to add another stock to my portfolio.
I hope my financial adviser doesn't mind....LOL
So this stock will be for a 17 cal Prod that I recently made.
For the cheek riser I'm using a 100 cal bullet.
-
Sweet!!!
-
Been dabbling in grenade and bullet style pump arms and foregrips.

Nice work. This is what I made for my Dana Bandit.
