thats a really nice gun , any clue if its a balanced valve similar to the impact?

I wish i could tell ya, but I don't know squat about balance valve design sorry.

Crunchy spring sound slow cocking it. Shoots rws supermag 9.3 hole in hole if you can hold it. Best Snowpeak barrel I’ve had. Haven’t cleaned the barrel yet 1/2 a pellet tin. Reg creeps 10b so first shot hot 905 drops 860. Reg was set 150b out the box dropped it to 100b.

  How does it balance ? Front heavy I imagine ? That lower trigger guard and the front section of the upper pic rail could get chopped if you want to shed some weight.   If you ever get a pic of the barrel with out the shroud, I'd love to see it. Sometimes weight is a good thing but that form factor rifle just seems like it be a lightweight. I am sure with some polishing, you can get the trigger and spring sorted out.

 What is that offset mod on there ? Is that what it came with or is that something special ?

Balanced pretty good, Mod is a 1.5x5" offset designed for Huben GK1 .25 pistol. just put it on for pic lol. I dropped the reg to 80b backed out the hammer spring.  dropped the fps to 800+ not as crunchy sounding now when I cock it lol.

Shrouded barrel the 1/2”x20 adaptor screws on the barrel if that makes since lol.

 I bet a Tanto on the end of that.  It seems to have good bones for a modern style PCP.
 I hope after it breaks in a bit it will be nice like the other SPA offerings.

Had a pin fall out after changing tanks. Has something to do with the trigger. Now it’s acting up not working right.

Ok alls good now. Super glue to the rescue. Geeeza I seem to use alot of it on trigger pins on Snowpeak guns.

Ah, the infamous SPA disappearing trigger pin. I was using a cut off finishing nail in place of one of mine, but I lucked out and found it months later.

Tape works great to hold the trigger pin in my P35s.  I just put a little piece on the trigger block covering the pin.

I wonder if it uses the same 1:21 twist barrel that my Bullshark, Chaser and Stormrider has.

i heard that their regulator dont work properly and give different chrono results in every shot, had anyone tried to see if thats true?
