Yeah.. I don't do FaceTube, YouBook, MyPlace or YourSpace or any of that other viral generating dramatical calamity. GTA is about as social as I get.

Both range time and hunting.Have a discount code for people who are a part of the forum. (10-15-%)Give a bigger discount code for future products if they use the forum and YouTube and mention your store.BadNot shipping to illinois because of dumb laws. (If i prove i have a foid send me the rifle...)Poor response time to question about shipment or promotions.Lack of a pellet selectionMy thoughts on the Facebook thing. I don't use social media, and any site that uses them expressly loses my business permanently. YouTube is less bothersome by and large, but I'm personally not going to watch videos on products when there's already kazillions of videos on airguns out there. A good review such as AEAC's or even AirGunGirl's is fine, but I already have limited time for wading through a mountain of video presentations. And making quality videos is expensive and time-intensive. I'd rather see the money I pay go into more product line and parts, not funding videos. Not knocking what you're saying at all, Brandon. It all seems reasonable, but I'd rather not see a company wear blinders and limit the customer base. And for a company just getting it's legs, maintaining a large stock of numerous sizes/brands of pellets on-hand means a huge capital investment from the get-go.Discounts are nice, but quality customer service and the ability to stock parts including barrels is more important to me. Call me old-fashioned in that regard, but the business model in my mind is similar to my employer's, and we're now the Top Dog in our industry and every year is getting better. We put our focus on quality and customer service, and I think this is where a focus on communication is so vital. LOL, one thing for certain... I don't want to see another AoA.I hear what your saying. Just giving it a perspective from the younger crowd. I don't order from a website most of the time if it has a outdated feel. Informing new information on social media is the fastest way to pass information now a days. Email is almost outdated. As for the you tube videos i enjoy the ability to see a walk around of the product verse still pictures on a website. When i see a rifle i like the first thing i do is go to youtube and search that rifle for videos. The discounts to returning customers promotes great customer service i know this from the sales field. If you reward the customer they are more likely to return once again.

It's also an open invitation saying send me some more of your advertising, please. Also, somehow spammers on Facebook somehow get the mailing lists of people and send spam to others simply on the mailing lists of Facebook members, not necessarily just those members.
I have to look at both sides of the isle. I see your points. I agree with some of them. I was just saying what i liked. It was my opinion.

It was my opinion.I think everything you said has a lot of value to add to the conversation, Brandon. You bring a fresh and- pardon my saying this way- youthful approach to modern advertising and marketing. All us old grumpy folks (I'm a young old grumpy folk!) abhor social media, but the bottom line is some social media does bear merit, too.Like what was pointed out a couple posts above about Instagram. So social media may not be good or bad. It is most certainly ugly, but if it bears fruit through Likes and other such whatever-things-happen, then why not? I love the idea of the Amazon storefront. I typically accrue $800 to $1K in Amazon credit a year, often more, and being able to drop that into airguns is fun... I just would like more variety
