Thx Troy.I believe you might be talking of the older Kral poppet setup? The poppet of this valve is certainly all steel and whatīs more hardened. Thus if you want to cut into it to start by annealing the piece is a good idea. The both older and newer Kral poppets iīve dealt with look way different.Edit - Poppet spindle protruding upwards vs the brass inlet iīve cut down a tad. In stock form it relies on the brass part to be a secondary bearing point. Stock diameter of valve housing bore for the valve seat is 12mm approx. As stated before the stock seat is a deadringer for the one used on various Hatsan made guns, a small separate piece out of white plastic approx 4mm in height that has an o-ring groove cut on its outer circumferance to become the seal vs the valve body bore.In short, IMO, not the best of solutions exactly.Btw.Yes. Exhaust port has been modified. The seat through diameter stock is 6mm diameter. Ditto for the actual exhaust chamber beneath the seat, in contrast to many other valves iīve seen. This is a first where the seat through and the area beneath the seat equals each other.
Thanks for the write up and pics. I could purchase an Impact if I wanted one. However, I can't justify the expense at this time. For less than half the price, I guess that is why people are calling the Throne II the "Impact Killer". For now, as they are unavailable in the US, I will continue to play with and modify my existing AG's. Maybe get around to making some swage dies. Post an update on accuracy. I think you mentioned that the barrels are choked? I don't remember, seems most slugs are better out of unchoked barrels.

Choking action on the Gen 2īs is nothing short of insane. Never experienced anything even close to it on any other PCP. Thus i for starters chopped ca 15mm (approx 5/8") off of the muzzle end of it, recut and threaded fresh 1/2UNF.Difference is like the flick of a switch, albeit i doubt far from done.As is she shoots alright. Need to adress a few minor other issues before i start pushing the envelope on accuracy tho, as in turning the piece for real.Rest assured however iīll keep you posted. On getting one, canīt Krale in Holland send ya one? Guess shipping would kill such a deal though huh? Still. Worth investigating at least.
