Just received the new trigger from Cathy Curtis, excellent service.
Out to the shop and pulled the Whisper VH apart and installed the replacement trigger per the good installation directions. Spent a bit of time putting a spring compressor together as this older Gamo has the single pin retaining the trigger and spring. Cleaned it well and deburred the sharp spots before relubing and reassembly, had some small score marks on the seal so will have to turn out a new one or purchase one for it.
This is my first experience with a spring rifle but it seems to be pretty happy with its new home and feeding. 25 yd groups off the bench with the H&N FTT 8.64gr run under 1/2" with one 5 shot group at .326", had to be the wind blowing them that close cause it sure wasn't me. The Crosman 7.9gr HP run 5/8--1.0" but cant get the heavier Crosmans or Gamos to do well at all.
Looking to testing with the new trigger this weekend and will report then, Thanks again to Cathy for continuing with a great product and service.

Yes Jerry, The new trigger made a different rifle out of it. All cleaned and put back together and tested in the shop at 10 yards, it's real happy and so am I.
Thanks to all for the guidance on making this a better rifle.
