Bitten, I am!Thank you, ER00z!
^ Guilty of both!Update: the UTG True Hunter scope and BKL mount have held rock steady for 50+ shots thus far. The stock screws, not so much, but I have plans for them - or I could just carry a stubby phillips in my pocket. What a fun and quiet rig. Possums are no problem with a single shot to the noodle. Can't wait to take this old girl out and see what she can do stretching her legs.Cheers!fd
By the way, what size washers actually fit. I haven’t found any at Lowe’s.

o just installed these without gluing down the washers to test and they haven’t loosened up in over 30 shots. Normally they would be backing out at 10! Hey thank you! I am looking at the Leapers “True Hunter” for this one. Looks like it’ll stand up to the shot cycle and will work with my price point to get me into the game. I already have a BKL 1-piece drooper waiting in the wings. I’m still beside myself enjoying the tuned 36. That maccari grt spring delivers the goods! The rifle is a total lightning bolt emitter now. The HN Barracudas are tremendous pellets for the little .177. Where my hopped up 1322 splits the apples on my tree, the 36 literally makes them explode into a flash of green mist. Insane to have this kind of power from an air gun. Yep, this is a totally newbie post, but I just love the character of these springers! Can’t believe it took me so long to get one. So tactile and mechanical compared to the numb and disconnected feel of the pumper. Perfect blend of beauty and aggression. It’s the feel of hitting that perfect downshift in a car without power steering vs an automatic with an electronic rack!
