Looking good! That 2260 stock has nice grain for a Crosman. What stain/finish do you have in mind for it?
I used to drill through the wood and metal together to pin the pump arm on these kind of builds. On the last one I came up with drilling holes in the metal lever at the bottom of the U shape bend of the lever and using small Phillips screws with turned down heads to hold it to the wood. The routed slot was very tight to begin with and the 4 screws make it rock solid. Less chance of making a mistake too.
looking at your gun it made me wonder how cool would it be to have a pumper qb78 / crosman 160 look alike. That barrel protruding forom th pump and standing proud makes it look so good. not that i dont like the "pug" look of the 39x or sheridan or most pumpers... but the elegance of a barrel standing away from the pump looks very slick.
Does my little "Pinball Pumper" qualify for your thread?

Here is another one of mine done on an older style 2260 stock and a 160 stock above that I just got started stripping and getting the trigger inlet blocked up to recut with a Forstner Bit for the 2260 trigger pack. Have not decided what gun to put into it but there is plenty length to do a pumper with a 13xx action. It may need to be bedded for that as the 160 stock works best with a Disco or 2260 tube which are larger diameter. I like to do Disco builds with the 160 stock but now I'm getting interested in a pumper with that stock. I think most folks are doing builds with the pistol grip style rifle rather than the traditional style.
