How to maintain accuracy while using an LDC?

I've tried two of the LDCs on thingiverse (thing:4099740 and thing:2563224) with my daisy 880, they are both designed for 20mm gamo varmints, but I designed an adapter so I could mount them on my daisy 880 (thing:4894813).
They both are fantastic at reducing noise, but they completely ruin the guns accuracy. It sprays +/- 6 inches at 15 yards.
The pellets seem to clear the LDC without hitting the internal walls (they are > 5mm bores, so a .177 pellet flies straight through). I'm not sure what causes the inaccuracy, possibly just turbulence?
If you have any tips that would be greatly appreciated! Maybe accuracy isn't possible with a 3D printed LDC?

One thing I do with something like donnyfl is go one caliber up in size so for my .22 the donnyfl .25. This was something Donny suggested and my rifles shoot dead on

I would just ensure the pellet path through the baffles is exactly centered through (perfectly concentric or as near as possible).
If a pellet does not contact any part of any baffles it could still fly "close enough" to the edges to aerodynamically affect its flight path. Also the longer the LDC the even more critical this exact concentricity becomes.

Since you are making your own,...maybe some venting? Some systems/guns have a shroud in addition to the LDC. That is it for my ideas.

Have you already done the barrel tape mod on the 880? Maybe there's too much play that's causing inconsistency from one shot to next. I use a Geo idc that's good at keeping a tight barrel to shroud fit, so no accuracy problems.

Thanks everyone for the tips, I have them working well now.
Using an adapter introduces more error bc I have to make sure the adapter is on straight, and the LDC is on straight on the adapter. Even though the pellet wasn't visibly clipping the LDC, I believe you all were right, it wasn't flying down the center.
I opened the bore up to 5mm by drilling through it.
The 3D print also had some stringing on the inside - this was addressed w/ a few bursts from a blow dryer to melt it down.
Also, when I first posted, I hadn't done the tape mod yet.
