Gamo Recoil Reduction Rail Blues x2

Hi Folks,
I am in hopes of finding a solution for the problem I am having with the Recoil Reduction Rail and Scope Mount on my Gamo Swarm Magnum Gen2. The recoil is causing the mount with steel pin to burrow back into the aluminum RRR (pic attached) during the first two weeks or so of use after receiving it. I called Gamo for an RMA on the RRR, and to their credit, they sent me a new RRR, Mount and Scope! They did mention and underscore that the mount screws need to be kept tight and although I did initially install them german style, goot-en-tight they did loosen a bit by the time the scope lost zero. It's been a couple of months with the new RRR, Mount and Scope, and I have been super mindful about checking the mount screws tightness. Today, the scope lost zero again and sure enough, same thing has happened although there is no loosening of the screws. (mismatched metals, steel pin wins against aluminum every time).
My questions for the more experienced airgunners here are:
1) Should I RMA a second time and do something different in terms of mounting?
2) Should I abandon the RRR system and find a mount and scope that can just mount to the dovetail grooves?
3) If yes to Q2, can a mount and scope suggestion be made, in light of this very powerful gas piston break barrel air rifle?
I love the Gen2 Swarm Magnum. It is a workout to load, but it is dead-on accurate when zeroed and punches like a prize fighter. I took a monster squirrel at 200ft with a head-shot soon after I got the airgun and surprised myself at its accuracy at that distance. I just need to find solve the mounting and scope partners that will hold up to it and would be very thankful for answers to the above questions and any other advice!

Is it possible that the steel pin isn't adjusted down enough to keep it from skidded through the surface of the aluminum? I've seen (several times) steel pins plow through steel recievers when they don't have enough engagement. When I install a scope mount with a recoil pin, I first engage the dovetail loosely feeling for the pins foe and aft stop in the receiver hole. Center it and softly turn down the recoil pin until it bottom out. Then I bring it up a quarter turn, slide the mount back to where the pin stops it, and then tighten the mount to the dovetail. When that's done I'll thread the pin gently down until it bottoms out and then install the scope. This method ensures that the pin has maximum engagement. Also it helps if you clean and dry the dovetail and mount with denatured or rubbing alcohol. Some people will even put loctite in the dovetail. I've never found that necessary with good mounts and the procedure I just explained. The loctite stinks to clean out of the dovetail later on if you have to. Residual Loctite in the dovetail will impair the grip of a different style ring or mount.

Thanks for the feedback on mounting. Yes I did check the pin depth in both cases when mounting. The Gamo instructions suggested the pin was adjustable but in both the first and second products their furnished with the Swarm Magnum, the pin did not budge up or down with ample torque applied to the hex slot one the mount. I mentioned this in my initial RMA request to them as well with a confirmation question about whether it was in fact adjustable or it the instructions were older than the current design which seemed to have the pin fixed- either intensionally or via cross threading but in neither case could I budge it one way or the other and I was afraid to strip the hex if giving it my all.
I did think of also trying to find or fab a steel ferrel to line the hole in the aluminum RR rail so that it wouldn’t do the same thing on the replacement rail but i decided to give the second one a chance. It seems I was mistaken in that optimism.
I’m now more included after second fail to just remove the RRR from the setup and try a high mount with scope. I am hoping other Swarm Magnum or other magnum owners have options to suggest for high mounts and Scopes that can take the beating.
I am not a fan of either the scope or it’s reticle that comes with the Gamo Swarm Magnum Gen2. It does seem from the forum posts I’ve found so far that pairing a mount and scope that can hold up to the recoil is hit or miss. So I was shaking the trees for more opinions and advice. This is my first gas piston airgun (I’ve had many springers before but never had this kind of power and recoil so I’m in unfamiliar territory on this problem.
If you own a magnum piston driven gun and have a solution, I’m all ears!
