John that's the pressure I started with today with mine. Any more than that is a waste of air in my opinion because I get a better five shot curve starting at 3.8Kpsi.
That's more than likely what it is but there isn't any available. The flat nose is available however they're heavier than what I'd like. It sure would have been nice if when they designed the 357 challengers they didn't make them with deeper magazines to shoot longer projectiles.
Well I went and did it, ordered yet another AEA gun. This time I got the AEA standard Challenger in 30 cal and also ordered the pellet mold for it from NOE. Gun was $389 shipped and the mold was $103 shipped. The thing that I'm looking forward to on this Challenger is the power adjustment, my .357 doesn't have that.Also I watched this video this morning of a Michigan airgunner shooting a white tail with his AEA 357 Challenger
