Does DonnyFL sell just exterior tubes by themselves?

Ask them: https://donnyfl.com/pages/contactThe question is, if DonnyFL would sell you a subset of the parts and they cost as much as the full LDC, why not buy the full LDC and progressively modify that to see and understand what happens? Just the DonnyFL casing (no internal structure) with enough holes near the far end to reduce recoil is likely to be rather loud.I think that taking the regular DLC and drilling large radial holes (or leaving the bottom holes undrilled to not blow up dust) will provide what you want ("bottom" needs to be determined by screwing on the LDC). Just make the holes large and place them between the last "chamber's" internal "wall" and the endcap at the muzzle end.If one ran an experiment, the "brake" holes may work better in the second last chamber, because the slightly higher pressure will vent out the holes more efficiently. This will come at a greater expense to the sound reduction. You could even drill a series of holes and thread them, so you can plug some of them with short grub screws, to experiment and find what best suits you. Once you know which open hole patterns works best, you can Loctite in the grub screws that you need to stay put. You could use short low profile round-headed capscrews, but they won't look good, because the heads wont sit flat on the curve of the LDC's outer tube - unless you countersink the holes.
To be sure I would see if the recoil reduction from just the moderator is satisfactory before modifying it.
Single handed unsupported at that range is not shabby at all, Cslinger!
I should clarify that "offhand" means not rested as far as my personal vernacular goes. So most of my pistol shooting is two handed just to be fully transparent.
3/8" CTC 5 shot group with IZH 46M, $15.00 Bushnell red dot sight, 7.0 gr RWS Meisterkugeln, standing with two handed grip at 25 feet. This was approx my 1620th five shot group with the IZH 46M. I'd be happy if I could do this consistently with a rifle offhand.
I was thinking of showing my worst groups but I don't have a wide angle lens,.
