While some might like it, I'm most definitely NOT one and the puke green color of that Gamo Bone Collector stock just had to go. Nothing fancy or special, just scuffed it with some 0000 fine steel wool, wiped it down and now it's hanging on a hook in the basement with a first coat of paint on it.
Thank you. I agree that Zombie color to me is horrible.  What color you going with?

This one...Patriotic Blue. Before and after picture.
Have you had a chance to take the Blue Jay out for a accuracy test yet?

I think the rain that started Friday night has finally passed over but it created a pond across the street and that pond has been trying to fill my father's basement...lol. Enter me, a pair of boots and a submersible pump.

It finally stopped late last night and supposed to be partly sunny and 75 so maybe today once I manage to clean up whatever mess is still down there.

No need to be, I'm used to it...lol. The house is something like 115 years old and we get this a couple times a year, usually when it rains heavy like yesterday or when spring hits and the snow melts off.

He had a guy come in to figure out why his drain pipe was plugged to find out trees on the other end had grown up and around and crushed the pipe so they would have had to trench the back yard for a whole new drain pipe, plus the sump set up and he wasn't ready to shell out a bit over $3000 to have it all done.

I got an Ace Hardware 72gph submersible pump and we just run the hose into the washing machine drain pipe so the village, which never installed the storm sewer when they had the street dug up, gets that water anyway...lol.

My garage is my 5 meter range for the 5m pistol and the 5m BB matches.

So I cleaned out the garage which I guess is airgun related.

I like this particular stainless fill adapter from $rcher $rguns 'cuz it has a single O-ring like the PROD's, hence short.

The nipple is also not detachable but machined along with the entire body:

I put O-rings around the hex for a cleaner look.

I have another one, and I intend to have a machinist round off the hex for an even cleaner look, but it also needs a small hole (non-thru, of course) on the side so I can use a rod (drill bit) to tighten it into the tube  ;D

My new rifle purchase was not one from my bucket list but rather more of a desire to experience what our neighbors to the north are limited to as far as velocity is concerned when they shoot.

The 490 fps Ruger Black Hawk is the rifle I'm referring too. I ordered it from FDAR with his 2-screw trigger modification. I've shot it some with open sights and I've finally accepted that my eyesight is such that I can't do that anymore.  That chapter has closed in my life so I have mounted a scope. I had a Mantis 3-9x32AO and that's what I put on it temporarily.

After shooting a couple hundred pellets ir so I've now cleaned and polished the bore, adjusted the 2-screw trigger again, tightened the pivot screw and now I would like to see what kinda accuracy I can expect out of it.

I finished my yard this morning,  I think I'll work first on seeing what pellets this little rascal likes.

I received my printer ink order today.
I have a 250 ct pack of pastel colored card stock.
I will be printing lots and lots of targets.
I don't do much printing other than targets and often times the printhead gets clogged after sitting.
I paid $19 for this multipurpose printer at Walmart. I bought 2 of them and one is still in the box.
I have samples of my favorite targets and I simply put them in the scanner and pump out copies.
I paid $28 for a set of black and color ink and waited 2 weeks for delivery.
When this printer begins to give me trouble, I'll kick it to the curb and break out the new one.
Hey, kinda like sub $300 airguns, now that I think about it....  :o 8)

I’m intrigued, Dan, to find out how she does at what range and which pellets at that kind of velocity.
