Nothing fancy or special, just scuffed it with some 0000 fine steel wool, wiped it down and now it's hanging on a hook in the basement with a first coat of paint on it.Thank you. I agree that Zombie color to me is horrible. What color you going with? This one...Patriotic Blue. Before and after picture.Have you had a chance to take the Blue Jay out for a accuracy test yet?

I think the rain that started Friday night has finally passed over but it created a pond across the street and that pond has been trying to fill my father's basement...lol. Enter me, a pair of boots and a submersible pump.It finally stopped late last night and supposed to be partly sunny and 75 so maybe today once I manage to clean up whatever mess is still down there.

I know that's a headache.
Can you install a sump pump.. or is it not worth it?
Attached a deburred and polished 8-32 stainless screw to the barrel band and added a delrin washer:It kind of looks like a a swivel wannabe
Lol I meant the gator skin on the couch or pillow what ever it is I really cant tell...
My new rifle purchase was not one from my bucket list but rather more of a desire to experience what our neighbors to the north are limited to as far as velocity is concerned when they shoot. The 490 fps Ruger Black Hawk is the rifle I'm referring too. I ordered it from FDAR with his 2-screw trigger modification. I've shot it some with open sights and I've finally accepted that my eyesight is such that I can't do that anymore. That chapter has closed in my life so I have mounted a scope. I had a Mantis 3-9x32AO and that's what I put on it temporarily. After shooting a couple hundred pellets ir so I've now cleaned and polished the bore, adjusted the 2-screw trigger again, tightened the pivot screw and now I would like to see what kinda accuracy I can expect out of it.I finished my yard this morning, I think I'll work first on seeing what pellets this little rascal likes.
