HuMa .... Tho years ago Air gun Exporter was selling Audrius regs before he took on the huma line. All regs can creep if the seats damaged ... HuMa's typically when assembled clean and set up correctly DO NOT have creep issues ( have installed 50+ of these units these past couple years. )
Scott,How do you rate the Huma versus the Audrius regulators? Are they similarly designed? Does either have any advantages in certain situations? Faster reacting or more consistent or higher flowing perhaps? The Audrius regulators are still available on ebay but for fewer model rifles.Thank you,Taso
Thank you Scott. Were the Milo74 regulators also the pin type seat? Thanks,Taso
So it seems the Milo regs are preferable? I don't know if he is still making regulators. I bought 2 for my B51's almost two years ago. It looks like the seal at the top of the spool? is some black polymer inletted disk and the seat is brass and a flattened cone shape?I attached pictures I had in another thread for clarity as I don't know the proper terminology. Thanks,Taso
Motorhead, Im in the market for a reg too for my Marauders. So the Huma "seat" is that replaceable?
I was looking around and after reading this I recently installed the Huma in my 177 cal marauder. I have it running from 892 to 900 fps . No more trying to keep it in the sweet spot on air. This little gun is "very" accurate with a stock barrel. I could not be more pleased. Thanks to Scott and others for this thread... I'm an old dog trying to learn new tricks. Smile. Brian Smith
Anyone know of a clear winner that produces the most consistent shot strings?
