We have lost another icon in the airgun community. Ron passed away yesterday 19 Jan 2016. I had the pleasure of meeting Ron and talking with him several times at the Fun Shot held at Gene's home. Ron was an encyclopedia of airgun knowledge and truly a gentleman. My condolences to his wife Blanca and their entire family.
Rest in peace my friend and thanks for all you have done for the entire airgun community for so many years!!!
We will miss you.

Rest in peace Mr. Sauls

Only had the opportunity to speak with Ron one time on the phone. Struck me as the gentleman folks claim him to be. The world could use many more like Ron.

He was definitely a man with tons of airgun knowledge and experience. I'm proud to have met him at the fun shoots.

It is a sad day indeed. Ron Sauls was a great man and a great friend and made tremendous contributions to the world of airguns. Ron and I go back many many years and he was certainly one of the "old timers". Ron had been ill for some time but.I was not able to see him lately because of my own medical problems. Thank you for everything Ron. I pray for you and your family.

Will keep his family in my prayers.

:( January 2016 is really fast becoming a bad month prayers to Mr. Sauls and his family

Mr. Sauls was a kind gentleman. He was my go to guy for parts and advice when I started tinkering with airguns nearly a decade ago. When I spoke to him on the phone or saw him in person at Baldwinsville, it was always clear that he was in business to help and encourage people, and airguns were the medium through which he did that.
May his family and friends take comfort in the light and love he added to the world while he was here.

Sad to hear of the loss to our community. Prayers sent to the family.
