Looking at an xs25 possibly in .22 for my next toy. Fully tuned by MM.
What should I expext in terms of accuracy and noice?
Especially on the noice side , is it louder say than a Beeman R7?

Don't own an R7 so can't compare but my XS25 is quiet, not very hold sensitive, not very pellet picky and with Mike's 2nd screw mod you'll get a very good adjustable trigger although I never touched mine and left it just the way he set it up for me. I only shoot out to 30ish yards but if I'm having a good day, I can park 5 under a quarter at that distance and it's taken it's share of little grey tree rats.
Only thing I got an itch to do after I got it was refinish the stock:

Have one, .22-full tune...
One of the best airgun bargains out there.
This one likes FTTs. Cracks pretty hard, slings Hobbies @ 790.
Maybe I’m an odd-ball, but I found a Blackhawk Elite for $50 at a pawn shop, switched stocks and really like the way it handles/shoots. The wood seemed a little “blocky” to me.
As has already been observed, the FD tune puts you way ahead and my trigger was set perfect for a field gun. Money well spent

not as quiet as a r7 (ever). you would have to detune it to make it nearly as quiet. but in that case i would say order a xs12. now the .22 is quieter than the .177. Mike's tunes do help a ton making it smoother, quieter, and a joy to shoot.

Did you get one? If so, which one? I just got one with a bamboo stock myself and I love it!
