Pellet sorting/storage container alternative

I found that pellet size sorting and weighing requires more containers than I could gather here at the house. The lids have a positive click when sealing, but I am under no illusion that they would pop off easily if dropped. So I use cut-down lids and bottoms from printer paper boxes to carry and store groups of these containers. They make a 1 ounce cup that is less expensive, similar to a medicine cup used in hospitals, but they are too narrow to get my fingers into to retrieve a pellet to shoot. These are wider for old fingers that don't work as good as the use to.
I had tried using some Plano boxes with multiple compartments that I have here unused from fishing, but my fingers would occasionally drop a pellet into an adjacent compartment when I picked one up to shoot it, so with such fumble fingers co-mingling sorted pellets, what was the use of sorting them? Using these cups I can just pick out the size/weight pellet cup I want and it is the only one on the shooting table with me. Fumble finger problem thwarted.
Now, If I could just stop the constant self-doubt, "
Did I just drop that 15.90 pellet in the 15.88 cup
?"

Great info. Will be even more useful when I started sorting by size. Now I am just sorting by the weight.

I have been using "Chew Cans", the plastic type, (there is also the metal type),
they come in the following dimension, for the Yarrh roll sorting/testing, I am just starting to do.
Dia = 2.575", with lip snapped on = .900" tall,
and I can get my OLD fingers inside one with no problems, so far,
cleaned inside and remove the labels.
I use 3/4" x 1" self stick white labels, easy peel off type, for marking info etc,
the mint flavored ones gives the pellet a real nice smell. LOL
Also work very well for small items, that seem to collect around here.
These also work well,

I've been sorting all the cast pellets that I've been making, I've got an Opti Visor that works really nice for the visual part
For weighing I use a Gemini-20 scale

That is some nice equipment. In 0.01 grains too? My cheap one only does grains every two one hundredths.

Next time you go to the Drs office and they ask for a urine sample, those clear containers that snap tightly and are spill proof are in my opinion great for storage of pellet separations. Easily labeled, too.
